Throughout 2024, cinemas across the United Kingdom sold approx. 126,510,000 tickets. Box office revenue in the UK was estimated at £978,100,000 and up to 91.5% of these profits leave the country and into the pockets of wealthy media conglomerates in the US. In 2020, five film distributors dominated Our box office gross; E-One, Sony, Disney, Universal and Warner Bros. Not a single British company could compete.

We want to change these figures. That’s a big thing to say – but change starts small. Yet, a storm is coming.

Twister Pictures was only established on April 2025 with the investment of only £100. By August that year, we acquired our first feature film license ‘Winona Forever’, an independently UK produced film by Archie Parker. We have connected our series IP ‘Happy Docs’ with Impact Organisations across Manchester, UK – and held our first success exhibition of Winona with a sold out crowd of 55 people at venue in Birmingham, UK.
