Twister Pictures Academy launching in the Heart of Manchester, teaching members of the public on How To Make a Short Film across Eight Workshops

This is a hands-on in-person filmmaking workshop across eight sessions dedicated to helping members of the public, make a high quality short film. 

Twister Pictures Academy (TPA) was established on Saturday 22nd January 2026 with its first workshop being held on Saturday 7th February 2026, under a month later.

Currently on the fifth workshop on Saturday 4th April 2026 from 2pm-4pm, our cohort will be having a pre production meeting for their short film titled 'Stone and Ivy' a drama about Stone and Ivy, overcoming their aesthetic of love through Nina's therapy.

The workshops offer a wealth of indie film knowledge, alongside light refreshments too.

Twister Pictures Academy aims to fulfill our company to also Educate and Inspire the next generation of filmmakers in Manchester, with the goal to also establish ourselves across the UK.
