Showcase Smash! Discovering the Next Generation of Filmmakers!

On Friday 05th June 2026 between 7pm-9pm, Twister Pictures held their first TPS (Twister Pictures Showcase) event titled 'Discover the Next Generation of Emerging Filmmakers' where they curated eight incredible short films alongside an amazing networking experience. During the event, they also premiered their Academy Alumni's short film titled 'Stone and Ivy'.

What can we say other than 'It was a smash hit!' says Rajab Mahmood, the Sales and Acquisition Director of Twister Pictures. 'I am genuinely amazed by the turn out - a full house dedicated to enjoying the hard work of emerging talent from the UK'.

During the late evening, TPS also had a Q&A talking to the filmmakers responsible for the films on screen and opened discussions to the crowd - who also enjoyed every bit of it.
